Trust & Security
Last updated: September 11, 2026
Celebrating Chapters is early-stage and growing. Here's how we approach protecting your information today, in plain language.
Your data belongs to you
Information you share with us — your Early Access details, and later your wedding-planning information — is yours. We use it to run the Service for you, not to build a profile to sell.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers. See our Privacy Policy for the small number of service providers we rely on to run the site.
Access is restricted
Early Access submissions are stored in a database that the public website cannot query. There is no way for a visitor to browse other people's signups. Once accounts launch, you will only be able to see your own Chapter data unless you explicitly choose to share it with someone.
Security controls are applied
We use database-level access rules (Row Level Security) so that data access is enforced by the database itself, not just by application code. Server-side operations that need elevated privilege run in isolated, credentialed server functions — never in your browser.
Authentication is protected
Account sign-in is handled through our authentication provider with password requirements, and we do not store your password ourselves. Session handling follows our authentication provider's recommended practices.
Encryption in transit
The site is served over HTTPS, and our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare and Supabase) encrypt data in transit and at rest as part of their platform. We rely on their infrastructure-level encryption rather than implementing our own.
We are not yet certified — and won't claim to be
Celebrating Chapters has not obtained SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR certification. We won't claim any certification we haven't actually earned. As the platform grows toward handling more sensitive information, we intend to pursue the protections appropriate to that stage.
Report a concern
If you believe you've found a security issue, please don't disclose it publicly. Contact contact@celebratingchapters.com and mark your message as a security report.
We're continuously improving
Security is not a one-time project. As Celebrating Chapters grows from Early Access toward public launch, we will keep tightening access controls, monitoring, and review — and we'll keep this page honest about where we actually are.
